Rule library — August 2026 · 31 Checks · Recovery Pack £29
A free Scan, then a flat fee
Find out what you’re owed.
£29 for the paperwork, or nothing if there’s nothing to find.
The Scan asks 14 questions about your circumstances. Your answers are tested against 31 UK recovery Checks. You see every Finding, and what each is estimated to be worth, before you pay anything.
We never touch your money. You send every letter yourself.
The Scan is not open yet. There is nothing here to sign up for and nothing to fill in.

ClaimPilot is not a claims management company and is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not give financial advice and we never act on your behalf — you send every letter yourself.

The information exists. That is the problem.
A council tax band guessed in 1993. A mid-contract price rise that opened a free exit you never took. An energy credit balance still sitting with a supplier you left.
Every one of those is recoverable for free, by you, without paying anyone a percentage. The information is public and it is good. It is also scattered across dozens of places, in official language, with dozens of different deadlines.
So the gap is not information and it is not willingness. It is triage. Nobody tells you which 5 of the 31 Checks apply to your household, what each one is worth, or which deadline is closest.
ClaimPilot does that one job. It never makes a claim for you, because the moment it did it could only ever cover one.
758,000 matured Child Trust Funds sit unclaimed. Average value £2,240.HMRC, September 2025
3.29m lost pension pots hold £31.1bn between them. Average pot £9,470.Pensions Policy Institute, 2024

Checks that didn’t apply to you
- Water meter switch saving — You already pay by meter, so there is nothing to switch.
- Matured Child Trust Fund — No children born between 2002 and 2011 in your household.
- Uniform and tools tax relief — Your employer supplies and launders your workwear.
And 22 more, each with its own plain reason. The last thing on your Result is this honest list, not a button.

A flat £29, whatever you recover
On a £900 recovery a percentage agent costs you hundreds. We cost £29, and we have no reason to talk you into a claim you cannot win.
Scroll the table sideways
| Route | What it costs you | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| A tax rebate firm | 25–48% of your refund | 1 route |
| A flight-delay firm | About a third of your payout | 1 route |
| A bill-monitoring app | A monthly fee and a bank connection | Monitoring only |
| ClaimPilot | £29, once | 31 Checks |
What we refuse
- No success fee. The price is £29 whether you recover £40 or £4,000.
- We never act for you. Every letter is sent by you, from your own address.
- No bank connection, no credit search, no National Insurance number.
- Where a free official route is better, the Pack says so and links it.
- No subscription. One payment, once, and no renewal.
Everyone else in this market earns from your outcome. That is what forces them down to a single, lucrative claim type. Why we refuse the percentage
